The Foundation is proud to have worked with the Alumni Association to induct NBA Cleveland Cavaliers player and Revere graduate Larry Nance Jr. into the Revere Hall of Fame. Nance Jr. is a 2011 graduate of RHS. Currently an NBA player with the Cleveland Cavaliers, he also is the founder of Athletes vs. Crohn's & Colitis, which was inspired by his own struggles as a youth.

During his speech, Nance Jr. encouraged the students of Revere to use adversity as a fuel for success. Following the induction, Revere’s student leadership team was invited to a lunch and a question-and-answer session with Nance Jr.
