Our Mission

PROMOTE

Promote experiential learning…

What is Experiential Learning?

“In it’s simplest form, experiential learning means learning from experience or learning by doing.”

Experiential learning first immerses students in an experience and then encourages reflection about the experience to develop new skills, new attitudes or new ways of thinking. To help our students achieve greater success and engage in creative learning, they need exciting projects.

The Revere Schools Foundation provides our teachers with direct funding to purchase the materials they need to conduct these innovative projects in their classrooms. Our goal is to help enhance the learning environment and inspire our kids through innovation and excitement.

PRODUCE

Produce leaders…

How do we encourage leadership?

To recognize and support the outstanding efforts of our exceptional students who make a difference in their school and in our community, the Foundation has established a scholarship fund that proudly awards college scholarships to Revere High School students. The scholarship fund was created to honor young people who are meaningfully engaged in their school or community, to encourage the continuation of their work and to inspire a new generation of young leaders to become engaged in the community.

The Foundation has established the RSF Future Leaders group where students can come together to learn about Leadership through discussions with other students and representatives from the local community.  The group will help to unlock the leadership potential already in our students.

Our goal is to help seed the future of the community and we believe that an important aspect of the community’s future success will be the ability to promote the development and retention of new leadership.

PROTECT

Protect our kids…

How do we protect our kids?

The Revere Local School District is committed to providing a safe, respectful and welcoming learning environment. The safest schools are those that foster a climate of support and respect and that instill a sense of community.

The Foundation is committed to providing financial support to assist in creating the sense of community through awareness programs, like the See Something Say Something Campaign, because our most important goal is to protect our kids.
